How long does it take for a payout?

Who can be covered on one policy?

This includes your immediate family as well as extended first-line relatives. From your parents, grandparents and in-laws to siblings, nieces and nephews, you can ensure that there is adequate cover to pay for their funeral in the event of an unfortunate circumstance.
What is the maximum age limit for cover?
Your cover will not end once you get older, provided that your premiums are paid on time every month. Elderly family members can be included in the family funeral plans and the pensioner plan has no age limit. We therefore encourage South Africans to secure funeral cover as early in life as possible. Death is an unfortunate circumstance that can occur at anytime, even if you are young, fit and healthy. Early sign up will ensure throughout your life, no matter your age.
Are there waiting periods?
Waiting periods help to protect our members. This ensures that new members do not sign up and claim immediately, without contributing their fair share. Therefore there is a 6 month waiting period for death due to natural causes. However, a waiting period may not apply in the event of accidental death as this is an unforeseen circumstance.
